In an exclusive interview from the Orange County Jail, the woman accused of killing her fiance while kayaking shared intimate details of their relationship and maintained her innocence.
Angelika Graswald, 35, said she is being wrongfully accused of tampering with Vincent Viafore's kayak to kill him. She says the accusations come after police found her diary.
The diary allegedly details Viafore's desire for rough sex, pressure on Graswald to take part in threesomes, and how she at times wished he was dead because of it.
She did add that they were very much in love, and she said the words were written during problematic times.
State police say Graswald's behavior since Viafore disappeared on the Hudson River isn't adding up. Graswald is being charged with second-degree murder in his death.
