The Poughkeepsie woman charged with murdering her fiancé on the Hudson River faced a judge Thursday.
Angelika Graswald, 35, is accused of tampering with Vincent Viafore's kayak and watching him drown back in April. Authorities say Graswald wanted to collect on Viafore's $250,000 life insurance policy.
Prosecutors said Viafore's autopsy results were not yet available today.
Graswald has denied the charges. She is due back in court in October. Her defense team says they will review the evidence with prosecutors and state police. They say it will be a long process.
Viafore's body was recovered from the Hudson in May, close to where he disappeared the month before in New Windsor.
