Off-duty Ramapo police officer fatally shoots neighbor in CornwallAuthorities in Orange County have identified the man who was fatally shot by an off-duty Ramapo police officer Monday night. Officials say 40-year-old Erick Gilmore was shot by his neighbor, Rob Fitzgerald, at 151 Main St. in Cornwall. They say the incident happened on the off-duty officer's property, by the door and driveway around 11 p.m.
State police: Crash involving several large trucks closes lanes on New Jersey TurnpikeNew Jersey state police say a morning crash involving several large trucks in Woodbridge caused problems for commuters on the New Jersey Turnpike.The crash happened around 4:48 a.m.According to state police, a roll-off truck was traveling south on the ramp from the Thomas Edison Service Area to the outer roadway, when the driver lost control and the truck entered the shoulder, where it struck a parked tractor-trailer.

Police: Man fatally shot at Lincoln Terrace ParkPolice say a man was shot and killed at Lincoln Terrace Park Tuesday and that they are still looking for the suspect who pulled the trigger.  Police say it happened a little before noon. They say a 27-year-old, who has not been identified at this time, was shot in the head and chest. The crime scene unit and medical examiner combed through the scene looking for clues.  A friend of the victim, who did not want to speak on camera, tells News 12 he was hanging out at the park with the victim around 10 a.m.
