Mount Vernon Youth Bureau employee arrested on sexual misconduct charges: A Mount Vernon city employee is facing accusations of sexual misconduct. Officials say Anthony Tyfan Deans has been arrested and arraigned. They say he worked for the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau since 2013.
Jersey Proud: Happy 121st Birthday Indiana JonesJuly 1, 1899 is the birth date of the character Indiana Jones. The makers of the “Indiana Jones” series say that Jones was born in New Jersey and studied at Princeton University – certainly a hero to make New Jersey Proud. A fifth “Indiana Jones” movie is slated to be released in the summer of 2022.
Long Island's most famous singer approves of AJ Smith's new song appropriately titled 'Billy Joel': A famous Long Islander helped to make a singer-songwriter's dreams come true, after his new song got some worldwide exposure. AJ Smith says that it all started when he was going to Long Island to meet his girlfriend's parents for the first time. On the way to see them, she told him that they are super Long Island, "They love the Mets, and they love Billy Joel." So he wrote a song appropriately titled "Billy Joel."
Fire officials: Carroll Gardens building that collapsed had several Department of Buildings violationsCleanup is underway after a three-story building in Carroll Gardens collapsed Wednesday evening.Fire officials and the Department of Buildings tell News 12 the building had multiple active violations, including a recent stop work order. News 12 is told fixes were being made to the wall, which at the time, had a bulge.

The couple was forced to flee, trying to save their dogs, cats, and pot-bellied pig in the process.Now, a fundraising campaign aims to help them rebuild their lives.
