Young women from around Westchester are getting support and guidance from a select group of mentors.
Over 70 women met their professional mentors during the kickoff luncheon for "Her Honor" Mentoring program in Larchmont Thursday.
Judge Judy Sheindlin, the famous TV judge, funds the program, which her daughter Nicole developed.
Mentees were selected from several local high schools, including Mamaroneck, New Rochelle and White Plains.
"This is the community saying to them we value what you do in trying to make yourself better and as a community we're going to help you," says Judge Judy Sheindlin.
The mentoring program is now in its 12th season.
