John Jay High School cheerleaders excel at national competition

Congratulations are in order for the John Jay High School cheerleaders in Dutchess County!
The team recently returned home after representing their school and community at the NCA High School Nationals held in Dallas, Texas. Competing in the Medium Varsity Game Division, the Patriots showcased their skills and dedication on a national stage.
Out of 31 competing teams, the Patriots achieved an impressive fifth-place finish in the nation.
In addition to their competitive success, the team was also recognized for their commitment to community service, receiving an award for their outstanding contributions.
With sectionals on the horizon, the team is now gearing up for their next challenge just one month away.
