People across the Hudson Valley showed off their Irish pride Tuesday for St. Patrick's Day.
McLean Avenue in Yonkers buzzed with activity, with most people decked out in green.
Tussaud's Bakery says it prepared 700 loaves of Irish soda bread just for this week. That's compared to a dozen a week, which they usually sell during the rest of the year.
Locals as well as those who came from afar celebrated at Rory Dolan's Bar and Restaurant throughout the day.
McLean Avenue also prepared for the big parade this coming Saturday. More than 30,000 people are expected to attend the parade, which kicks off at 1 p.m. on Hyatt and McLean avenues near Bronx River Road.
