Iona College cancels arts & science classes leading up to spring break

Iona College has canceled all Arts & Science classes leading up to Spring Break starting tonight at 10 p.m.

Iona College has announced that it will start spring break four days early and cancel all in-person and online arts and science classes effective Monday.
The college is home to 3,500 students in New Rochelle.

Iona announced it will take precaution as there are no known suspected cases of the coronavirus on campus.
The residence halls will close early for spring break on Tuesday, March 10. Students who are unable to leave at that time should contact school officials to work out alternative arrangements.
While the school is closed, the residential life staff will be conducting health and safety inspections while classes are not in session.
Iona says that all internal activities and events planned to be held on campus between Tuesday, March 10 and Monday, March 23 will also be canceled.
