The investigation continues into the death of a Pleasantville woman who police say was murdered.

Linda Falcoff, 76, was found dead in her house on Grandview Avenue Thursday. A mail carrier contacted police after he noticed newspapers and the mail were piling up at her doorstep. Police say she had been stabbed to death.

Police were on the scene again Monday, searching inside the house and interviewing neighbors. Investigators say the house is overrun with items, making it difficult to look for clues.

Falcoff lived alone, and police say she had no family. Neighbor Tim Kelly says she worked as an attorney.
