White Plains High School security and a teacher are being praised for
stopping an intruder.
A letter sent home to
parents says the person entered the high school at around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, and was showing signs of emotional distress.
Safety protocols were
immediately enacted, and the building was locked
down with police arriving in minutes to remove trespasser.
No one was hurt.
