A recount has begun in the election for Yonkers City Council president.
Only 121 votes separate incumbent Chuck Lesnick and challenger Jim Castro-Blanco. Inspectors with the Board of Elections have started to pore over the votes that were cast on Election Day.
The candidates and their supporters say they are looking for discrepancies in the original tally.
