A new inspector general's report alleges that a Yonkers building inspector accepted bribes.
The report found that a senior housing inspector accepted bribes to overlook violations. That employee has since been fired.
The report also accuses a employee of having a second job at St. Johns Riverside hospital while also on city time.

Mayor Mike Spano said in a statement, "Let this be a warning to anyone in public service who is less than honest. We don't tolerate bribes, and I will continue to provide the full support of this administration in dealing with dishonest behavior."
