A Poughkeepsie mother is pleading for information that may lead to finding her daughter, who has been missing since June.

Kathleen DiStasi says her daughter, 41-year-old Jenilee Dupont, was last seen in the City of Poughkeepsie June 26. She reported her missing in July.

News 12 spoke with DiStasi on Wednesday about her daughter’s disappearance. She asked anyone with information to come forward.

“Please go to the police,” said DiStasi.

DiStasi says Dupont is struggling with mental illness and substance abuse but that she would never stop communicating with her or their family.

“Please just call me,” said DiStasi. “Good or bad. She knows it doesn’t matter. I picked her up out of some pretty hairy situations in the past 20 years, so I’m not afraid of anything. I’m just afraid for her.”

Dupont is 5 feet, 5 inches tall with blue eyes and blonde hair. She has a tattoo of a small heart on her ankle and the word “lucky” tattooed on her shoulder.

Anyone with information is asked to call City of Poughkeepsie police at 845-451-4000.
