Two police officers and several others are recovering after a crash in Yonkers.

Police say the officers were sitting in a marked patrol car on Yonkers Avenue Saturday morning when another vehicle made an illegal U-turn and hit them.

A taco truck and two empty cars were also struck.

The officers, two workers inside the taco truck and the driver were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.

Police say the driver is facing charges including driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.
