As the gun control debate rages on across the country, a recreational hunter from Cortlandt Manor tells News 12 he strongly believes the time has come for the nation to have a serious talk about passing some type of common sense laws.
Cliff Fischer says his views have grown more fervent following the deadly Las Vegas mass shooting. His best friend was caught up in the terrifying scene, dodging bullets and watching people die in front of him.
Fischer now finds himself in a growing chorus of Americans looking to political leaders to do something.
He says while he doesn’t have answers, he is hoping that action is taken to prevent future mass shootings.
