Prayers are continuing this morning for the safe return of three missing teenagers kidnapped in Israel, one of whom has ties to the Hudson Valley.
More 1,000 Jewish men and boys gathered yesterday at Provident Bank Park in Pomona for a prayer rally.
Three Israeli boys were apparently kidnapped on their way home from school in Israel. Among them is 16-year-old Naftali Frenkel, who has family ties in Monsey and Brooklyn.
Meanwhile, clashes continue between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers in the West Bank amid a large-scale search for the teens. A 15-year-old Palestinian boy was killed and three Palestinians were seriously wounded. The violence is a sign of the growing escalation in the search for the three Jewish seminary students.
