Hundreds march in Mount Kisco in support of immigrants
Just over 100 days into his presidency, experts say the Trump Administration has arrested more than double the number of non-criminal immigrants than last year.
Hundreds of people in Westchester marched through Mount Kisco on Sunday in protest of President Trump's immigration policies.
Michael Kaplowitz, the chairman of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, joined the rally.
"In these difficult times, people in particular are looking to protect the most vulnerable of our communities," Kaplowitz said. "And the immigrant community is very scared. It's important that leaders stand together, literally march together."
The march ended with advocates saying they will continue to fight and rally until everyone feels welcome.
