Hundreds gathered in Greenwich Sunday to experience some living history.
The Putnam Cottage held a Revolutionary War Re-enactment celebrating Gen. Israel Putnam's historic ride trying to evade redcoats.
Organizers say visitors toured a military encampment and were immersed in colonial life demonstrations.
News 12 is told the event was sponsored by the Putnam Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
