June is Gay Pride Month, and hundreds came out to celebrate inclusion and diversity in White Plains this weekend.
More than 700 people packed the family friendly event hosted by the Loft Community Center.
It was filled with music, food, art and colorful entertainment acts. Attendees say they feel a sense of pride to see the LGBT community and its allies coming together. "Community. It's best when the community comes together and supports each other. Having some fun, where you feel accepted and you can enjoy life together, is what makes this great," says Frances Ryan, of Yorktown.
The Loft Community Center has been serving Westchester since 1983. This is their second annual pride event.
