Two runners from the Hudson Valley made their mark at the annual Tunnel to Towers Run and Walk over the weekend.

The event retraces the final steps of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, from Brooklyn, through the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel to the Twin Towers.

Sixteen-year-old Liam Ford of Brewster placed third out of 3,503 runners, while firefighter Ony Franco of Newburgh secured 12th place.
