Hudson Valley Restaurant Week kicked off today.
More than 200 restaurants are taking part in the two-week event.
The bi-annual event, which is in its ninth year, showcases the Hudson Valley as a culinary destination while offering customers a fine dining experience at a fraction of the normal cost.
This year, Harvest on the Hudson restaurant in Hastings kicked off the event with Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino serving as guest chef.
County officials say Restaurant Week boosted Westchester County's bottom line by $20 million in sales revenue last year.
