The statues for this year's Academy Awards were created in the Hudson Valley.
Polich Tallix Fine Art Foundry, of Rock Tavern, was given the task of making the iconic statues for the first time this year.
Workers say that all of the 56 statues have already been shipped to Los Angeles.
When the show is over, the winners will send back their statues to be installed with their nameplates on the base.
The foundry says it will be making the Oscars again next year, but for now they are going to sit back and enjoy the creations when the Oscars air on Feb. 28.
