Hundreds gathered in White Plains to celebrate the end of Ramadan this weekend.
Muslims came together Sunday at the Crown Plaza hotel for prayer and brunch.
One local lawmaker says it's important for people of different religious beliefs to come together. "We all pray to the same God, we are all Westchester residents and that as a community we can celebrate diversity but at the same time realize that we have much more in common," says Legislator Michael Kaplowitz.
Ramadan is a time of prayer, fasting, and good deeds for Muslims all over the world.
