The hospital that treated the man who killed an NYPD officer in the Bronx says it followed proper procedure.
Officials say before Alexander Bonds gunned down Officer Miosotis Familia he had psychiatric help at St. Barnabas Hospital, but was quickly discharged.
Hours before this week's shooting, his girlfriend called 911 saying he was acting paranoid.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has ordered an immediate review of the hospital.
A wake will be held Monday for Officer Familia at World Changers Church in the Bronx and a funeral service will be held at the same church Tuesday at 10 a.m.
