An Orange County woman is asking for help as she tries to save local horses from being sold for slaughter.
The First Go Farm in Wallkill held an open house event Saturday to show people how the farm helps rescue horses and rehabilitate them.
Organizers say the open house featured demonstrations including saddle fitting and horse shoeing.
