'Hornet's nest' of drug activity unraveled in Sullivan County drug bust

Four men were charged in connection to a drug bust at a Sullivan County hotel.
Deputies and Homeland Security agents executed two search warrants at the Monticello Inn at 392 Broadway on Tuesday.
One suspect, 50-year-old Jacob McCoy, of the Bronx, was arrested for possession of crack cocaine, heroin and fentanyl. McCoy is a three-time felony offender.
Two people from Manhattan were also charged for stashing drugs at the hotel.
Deputies say 27-year-old Francisco Vasquez and 34-year-old Divine Alexis had crack cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, pills and a loaded 9 mm handgun with a high -capacity magazine in the room.
They were both arraigned on Wednesday for drug possession and intent to sell charges.
Thirty-year-old Marc Almonte, of Yonkers, who was also in the room, was charged with loitering.
Almonte was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Sheriff Mike Schiff described the Monticello Inn as a “hornets’ nest” of drug activity.
