A Pleasantville couple says someone slammed into a car parked in their driveway before taking off early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at around 2:40 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue.

Homeowner Fred Wagner says the culprit pushed his car 10 feet, sending it through his garage door. He says the forceful impact led him to believe the driver was flying down his roughly 100-foot driveway.

The Wagners say one of their neighbors saw a dark-colored SUV speeding away from the house.

Police say the matter is under investigation.
