News 12 got an exclusive look at a new recruitment tool unveiled by the Hillcrest Volunteer Fire Department Thursday.

The department turned one of its response vehicles into a mobile billboard that is asking people to join them.

"There's a job for everyone on the fire ground. There's a job for everyone at the firehouse. Don't think that you don't fit into the criteria? Walk through our doors. Sit with us. Talk with us. And we can show you how everyone can give back to their community," says Chief Orin Ben-Jacob.
