Hillcrest man accused of assaulting mother, endangering child

Ramapo police say they were called in on Friday and found the woman had bruising and swelling on her face.

A Hillcrest man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting the mother of his child, all while holding their infant, according to authorities.
Ramapo police say they were called in on Friday and found the woman had bruising and swelling on her face.
They arrested the 25-year-old suspect Sunday, and he's since been charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
An order of protection has also been issued.
He's due back in court Thursday.
