An Orange County village is getting creative in supporting downtown businesses during the coronavirus pandemic.

News 12 is told anyone who purchases a $50 gift certificate to a downtown business will receive a free parking pass for a year - thanks to ‘Operation Gift Certificate.’

In an effort to assist businesses that are struggling, Mayor Joe Donofrio says the village board is open to all helpful ideas.
