A Port Chester man will spend decades behind bars after being convicted of repeatedly sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.

According to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, 56-year-old Segundo Pucha-Carchi was sentenced to 31 years in prison.

Pucha-Carchi was convicted in June.

Prosecutors say the abuse occurred between 2023 and 2024.

The district attorney’s office says that after his arrest, Pucha-Carchi violated an order of protection while being held at the county jail and attempted to influence the victim’s testimony through bribery and other means.

When he is released from prison, Pucha-Carchi will serve 20 years of post-release supervision. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.
