Some kids in Peekskill were on cloud nine after a helicopter landed at their school Wednesday.

It was part of Woodside Elementary’s "career exploration" initiative.

Kindergarten and first graders learned about all of the different positions available in law enforcement.

The Westchester County police helicopter circled the school and Peekskill police brought their K-9 officer.

The goal was to inspire children to imagine the possibilities their futures can hold.
