HEAT ALERT: Humid and hot Sunday in Hudson Valley could reach 97 degrees

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says a stray evening storm possible tonight. A heat advisory in place through Sunday night.
NEXT: We end the weekend still hot with the potential of setting records -- White Plains could rival the daily record high of 95 degrees. Chance for some isolated strong to severe storms Sunday and then the heatwave ends after Monday with another round of PM storms, some which could be strong to severe. Above average temperatures continue next week, but much cooler than the past few days.
OVERNIGHT: HEAT ALERT - Mostly clear, but still warm and humid - Lows around 75. 
SUNDAY: HEAT ALERT/WEATHER TO WATCH  - Sun and clouds - hot and humid - chance for a late-day shower or storm. Record high temperatures expected. Highs around 97. Feels like 100. Lows around 78. 
MONDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH Scattered showers and a few storms possible in the afternoon. Some could be strong to severe. Highs around 91 degrees. Heat Index Values may still approach 100 before storms arrive. Overnight lows around 70.
TUESDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Less Humid. High of 85. Low of 65.
