Heat advisory in effect for Hudson Valley until Thursday evening

NOW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Julian Seawright says a heat advisory will continue through 8 p.m. Thursday as temperatures remain in the low-90s.
NEXT: Thursday evening this is an opportunity for spotty showers or storms to move into the lower Hudson Valley. The heat advisory will expire Thursday night, and temperatures will return to the 80s by Friday and into the weekend. Spotty rain/thunderstorm chances will continue throughout the weekend into Monday of next week ahead of 70-degree temperatures next week.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, warm and muggy. Low temperatures in the mid-70s.
THURSDAY: Partly sunny, hot and humid with a chance of a spotty rain shower or thunderstorm in the evening. High temperatures in the low-90s. Feels-like temperatures can be in the mid-90s. Low temperatures in the low-70s.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and warm with a chance of a spotty rain shower or thunderstorm in the evening. High temperatures in the mid-80s. Low temperatures in the low-70s.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and warm with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the low-80s. Low temperatures near 70 degrees.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of late rain showers or thunderstorms. High temperatures are near 80 degrees. Low temperatures in the upper-60s.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny with a chance of rain showers. High temperatures in the upper-70s. Low temperatures in the low-60s.
TUESDAY: A mix of sun and clouds and seasonable. High temperatures in the mid-70s. Low temperatures in the upper-50s.
