There's a new call to raise the age to legally buy cigarettes nationwide.
The American Academy of Pediatrics is calling on lawmakers to raise the age from 18 to 21.
The group says keeping tobacco products out of the hands of young adults will reduce the number of people who are addicted to nicotine.
It also wants the FDA to regulate e-cigarettes like it does other tobacco products.
