Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.

Could the disturbing national trend of smash-and-grab robberies be coming to Westchester? White Plains police are investigating a break-in at the Westchester Mall. A photo shows the smashed up window to the Louis Vuitton store. Police say they are working with the store to determine what was taken. No arrests have been made yet.
Police has issued a warning to Rye residents after two stolen car attempts in the past week. Police say both attempts were during the day, and both were interrupted by homeowners. Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors and to take their valuables with them - even during the day.
