Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
New photos have been released of a crash that injured two drivers on Thursday on Route 300, near I-87, in Newburgh. Police say a driver failed to yield the right of way and hit the UPS truck. Both drivers were taken the hospital and their exact conditions are unknown, but the UPS driver is expected to be OK.
Police have released the name of the White Plains man who died in a two-vehicle crash on I-287. State police say Kevin Roman, 26, of Pennsylvania, hit a box truck disabled on the shoulder with his tractor-trailer. Richard Bradwell, who was adding coolant to the box truck, was hit and died at the hospital. Each vehicle had an additional passenger in them - both suffered injuries that are not life-threatening.
A New Rochelle man faces charges for shooting into an apartment on Lawton Street Wednesday night. Police say a gunshot was fired inside an apartment, went through an adjoining wall and entered another occupied apartment. No one was hurt but 56-year-old Daniel DaSilva was charged with reckless endangerment.
