In Poughkeepsie, two men face charges following reports of multiple shots fired on Washington Street. Despite finding no victims, authorities observed damage at the scene and were informed of a speeding car fleeing the area. Corey Latimer and Josiah Mallory were arrested for criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
In Goshen, a man named James Harris was arrested for child pornography. The collaboration between Goshen police and the Orange County District Attorney's Digital Forensic Unit led to Harris's arrest. Allegations include trading child pornography online, involving images depicting children engaged in sexual activity with adults. Harris received an appearance ticket for a later court date.
A car crash occurred on Palisades Parkway, resulting in one person being hospitalized. The individual was trapped inside the vehicle, prompting the West-Nyack Fire Department's assistance in extrication. The driver sustained significant injuries and was transported to Nyack Hospital for treatment.
