Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Police continue to look for the driver involved in a car submersion incident at Piermont Pier last Wednesday. Authorities responded to inspect damages, discovering tire marks and car parts leading to the water. Surveillance footage revealed a car driving onto the dock, with the driver exiting and the vehicle continuing into the water. The submerged car was located a day later. Piermont police aim to retrieve the vehicle from the river this weekend, pending weather conditions.
Two alleged narcotics dealers out on bail for previous drug charges face new legal trouble. Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Green Street in Ulster County, arresting Matthew Felton and Amber Pratt for allegedly selling fentanyl. Both individuals now face multiple charges.
A Mount Vernon woman, Analda Robertson, is charged with numerous criminal offenses and over 80 traffic citations related to a shoplifting investigation in Middletown. Authorities say Robertson was apprehended leaving Price Chopper with unpaid items, attempting to flee and colliding with a police cruiser and another vehicle. Authorities say they discovered over $1,100 worth of stolen items in her car. Robertson is held in Orange County Jail, awaiting court proceedings.
