Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with prescription fraud in Orange County. The incident happened Monday morning at CVS pharmacy in Goshen. A similar incident happened at a CVS in Chester soon after. Officials suspect it may be the same woman involved in both incidents. The woman allegedly drove away in a gray or silver Toyota four-door sedan. If you recognize the woman or the vehicle, you're asked to call the Village of Goshen Police Department at 845-294-7988.
A fatal fire over the weekend claimed the life of a 60-year-old man in Arlington. Fire officials say flames broke out at a condo at 2740 South Road on Saturday. Firefighters found the victim inside unconscious and with extensive burns, and he then went into cardiac arrest. First responders were unable to revive him. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
