Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.

The successful extinguishment of a car fire in Port Chester has been attributed to the combined efforts of multiple fire departments. The Port Chester Fire Department reports that crews from Rye Brook and Purchase Fire, along with assistance from Greenwich Fire, collaborated to suppress the flames. Given the fire's proximity to the state line, crews from Greenwich were engaged. The operation extended in duration due to the compromise of the fuel tank.

An individual suspected of drug dealing is now facing legal charges in Dutchess County. The Dutchess County Drug Task Force executed a raid at Shawn Jackson's residence in Poughkeepsie, resulting in his arrest. Authorities discovered numerous narcotics packaged for sale. Jackson is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

The search is ongoing for Jason Saca-Sari Martinez, a missing person from Peekskill. Reportedly missing since Tuesday, Martinez was last seen near Oakwood Drive. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Peekskill Police at (914) 737-8000.
