Here are some of the stories making headlines acrosss the Hudson Valley on this Friday:
Ossining police are investigating a social media threat targeting the high school and students. According to a tweet from police late Thursday night, officials were alerted about a violent social media post made by a person claiming to be a student at Ossining High School. More information is expected to be released Friday. Anyone with information on this incident is being asked to call 914-941-4099.
Students and staff at New York University headed back into the classroom Friday morning after a bomb threat prompted the evacuation of three buildings on campus Thursday night. Police investigated threats for the Stern School of Business, the Center for Neural Science, and Hebrew Union College. Since then, officials have concluded their investigation gave the greenlight to resume classes as normal. Members of the NYU community will have resources available to support them if needed.
