The State Attorney General's Office now confirms that an off-duty NYPD officer shot and killed a man in Wallkill, and then died by suicide. The office says Sean Armstead, 36, fatally shot Edward Wilkins, of Wurtsboro, in a parking lot and then killed himself last May. Police say Wilkins was having an affair with Armstead's wife. News 12 is told no evidence indicates that any other person was involved in the shooting.
A man is facing charges for allegedly flashing a gun at another driver during a road rage incident in New Rochelle. A witness told police another driver tried to cut them off on Winthrop Avenue. The suspect allegedly got out of their car and pointed the gun at the victim. Todd Williams, 56, of the Bronx, is now facing several charges, including a felony weapons charge.
A man is facing two counts of forcible touching for incidents in Westchester County. State police say Pablo Rivera inappropriately touched the victim on two occasions in Peekskill and Cortlandt. He's due back in Peekskill City Court today and Town of Cortlandt Court on Monday.
