A tragic incident occurred at Hudson Valley Dodge in Newburgh, resulting in the death of a sales manager. Town of Newburgh police report that 41-year-old Justin Grater was hit by another man parking a Jeep Wrangler in the dealership parking lot. Grater became trapped under the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the hospital. News 12 reached out to the dealership for comment but we have yet to receive a response.
A two-time convicted felon, Gregg Lacey, is now facing charges for carrying a loaded ghost gun in Mount Vernon. Investigators also found Lacey in possession of numerous rounds of ammunition and gun parts. He has been charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and was arraigned in Mount Vernon City Court.
A loaded gun was discovered at JFK Airport in a Virginia man's carry-on bag on Tuesday. The TSA spotted the weapon, and police confiscated the gun and arrested the man. He faces a penalty of up to $15,000.
