Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
An Esopus man with a history of felony convictions pleaded guilty on Monday to a three-count indictment just before his jury trial was about to begin. The Ulster County's District Attorney's Office says Seth Young, 49, was charged with breaking into the Headless Horseman Haunted Attractions in Esopus and using a bolt cutter to steal the ATM in 2021. They say on two separate occasions he also stole two snowblowers from Herzog's in the City of Kingston. Video surveillance at both businesses captured Young committing the crimes, which he also confessed to law enforcement.
A man is facing multiple felony charges for a shooting in the City of Poughkeepsie. Police say they received several calls of shots fired in the 300 Block of Main Street early Monday morning. When officers arrived, they found 38-year-old Joshua Bolden in possession of a loaded handgun. Bolden is currently being held pending arraignment.
A Croton Falls woman is facing several charges for alleged drunk driving and other traffic violations in Westchester County. State police say Amberlyn Leonard was arrested in North Salem after striking a utility pole and rock wall on Route 22 over the weekend. Police say they found a downed utility pole and wires at the scene and a  transformer fire in the roadway. Leonard is due in town court next month.
