Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A high-speed police chase ended in a crash in Maybrook Monday night. Police say the driver took off during a traffic stop, then crashed into a turning tractor-trailer near Route 208 and I-84. The 20-year-old driver is now in critical condition.
A Beacon man is facing DWI and drugs charges.  Police pulled over Daniel Usher Saturday on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson. They say he was drunk and had over 25 grams of cocaine in his car.
The tolls on the five bridges operated by the New York State Bridge Authority will be going cashless beginning this summer. Cashless tolling will be rolled out in phases, starting in July 2021 at the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. The process will be completed next spring at all five bridges, including the Bear Mountain, Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff and Rip Van Winkle bridges.
