Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
The former finance director of a Hawthorne health care provider, Ingrid Aquino, is going to prison for stealing more than $700,000 from the organization between 2017 and 2021. Aquino pleaded guilty to grand larceny last March and could spend two to six years behind bars. She has also been ordered to pay back what she stole for personal expenses such as rent.
Antonio Perez-Molina, from Otisville, has pleaded guilty to running a cocaine drug operation in Orange County. Investigators found more than 1,000 grams of cocaine, three loaded handguns, a shotgun and about $70,000. He's set to be sentenced in March.
Poughkeepsie police are investigating a slashing incident in which a man was found with a cut on his head and a woman with a cut on her hand in the area of Main and North Cherry streets. The suspects left the area before police arrived.
