Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A grand jury investigation continues against convicted murderer and Westchester real estate heir, Robert Durst. News 12 has confirmed that key witnesses testified to the grand jurors. The investigation comes as Durst is now on a ventilator after testing positive for COVID-19. He was diagnosed with the virus days after he was sentenced to life in prison for the death of Susan Berman in an Los Angeles courtroom. Durst has already been battling other ongoing health problems including bladder cancer.
A Valley Cottage teen has pleaded guilty in connection to a fatal shooting. Collyer Goodman has pleaded to manslaughter charges for the shooting death of Darien Brydie from Chicago. The two were in a car in the parking lot of Nyack Plaza last summer when the shooting happened. Goodman will be sentenced in January
There was some frightening moments Monday at a dry cleaners in Yonkers after a car went right through the front window. Workers at Duleto Cleaners and Formal Wear on McLean Avenue tell News 12 the driver reversed through the front window, sending glass flying everywhere. No injuries have been reported.
