Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.

A truck driver from New Rochelle has been sentenced to six months in prison for stealing $32,000 worth of alcohol. The Westchester District Attorney's Office reported that the man took a trailer containing more than 1,500 cases of Mike's Hard Lemonade from a lot in Yonkers last March. The truck was later found abandoned and empty in Brooklyn. In addition to his prison sentence, the New Rochelle man will have to pay nearly $43,000 in restitution.

The business behind a marijuana dispensary bus, known as "More-Than-Munchies," has been shut down. The dispensary bus, along with its home base, was closed by the Buildings Department in the Town of Monroe. While the business had a permit to sell snacks, they were accused of giving away cannabis to customers, which was not permitted. The town supervisor stated that the business misrepresented themselves. The dispensary bus was impounded in East Fishkill, and an employee was arrested, accused of selling weed to people under 21.

A man is facing charges after giving Town of Poughkeepsie police a fake name. Police responded to the Diamond Mine Jewelry on South Road in Poughkeepsie for a person believed to be scamming jewelry stores. When they arrived, Anthony Spencer provided them with an incorrect name. Spencer was arrested and taken into custody, where police discovered he had an active felony arrest warrant out of Connecticut for violating his probation. The probation violation stemmed from stealing almost $5,000 worth of jewelry in that state.
