Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Police have identified the driver who died in a crash in Nanuet on Sunday. Clarkstown police say 25-year-old Michael Magee died after going over a guardrail on Route 304 around 3:45 a.m. His red Ford Mustang landed upside down onto Route 59 below. Before the crash, officials say Magee drove at least 2 miles north in the southbound lanes of Route 304. No one else was inside the car.
One person was shot and another person stabbed during a bar fight in Wallkill Sunday morning. Police say it happened at Whispers Cocktail Lounge around 1:30 a.m. Both victims showed up at Garnet Medical Center and are expected to be OK. Wallkill police is asking anyone with information to call them at (845) 692-6757.
A man is under arrest for abducting his ex-girlfriend. Police say Delmar Findlay, 40, forcibly took the 32-year-old woman from her home on Leviness Place in New Rochelle at 4:30 a.m. on Monday. She was found inside a home on Hillside Avenue in Mount Vernon with injures to the top of her feet.
